Paul Ciolek

Paul Ciolek began his violin studies in the fourth grade. His early private violin teachers included Sharon Holland and Kay Pech-Anshutz, former (retired) Music Director of the Cal Poly-Pomona University Chamber Players.  Later, he also studied with Jason Uyeyama of La Sierra University. Paul holds an A.S. degree from Saddleback College with studies in music and science, an A.A. degree in General Education from Palomar College, an A.A. degree in music from MiraCosta College where he studied music theory, and Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (Visual and Performing Arts with an emphasis in music) from California State University San Marcos.

Paul has over 25 years of experience as a freelance violinist.  His past accomplishments include playing professionally with three professional orchestras for years, performing in numerous chamber and string quartets, and other professional ensembles and settings.

Currently, Paul is first violinist for the Strings For Your Heart (a professional string quartet) and a regular first violinist with the Temecula Valley Symphony.  Paul continues to apply his experience and versatile playing style in the professional arena.

Paul’s quartet is available for weddings, parties, or other social, business, or private events. He also offers services as a solo artist, and he also can arrange string quartets and other small chamber ensembles for any occasion. Please call or email for more information or to schedule an event.

In addition to playing professionally, Paul provides private instruction at his home studio located in Temecula.
